There is a small river right next to our hotel here in Kalamos, which
is used to dock small boats. Any of our customers who may have their
own boat are more than welcome to dock there boats here as well.
All along the coast of the Pagasitic Gulf, which is where Kalamos
is, you will come across charming resorts varying in size. There are
some truly wonderful beaches here, where you can enjoy perfect moments
during the hot summer months, and soak up the very friendly local
atmosphere.

peninsula.

All across Pelion are many churches and monasteries that are well

The church of Agia Marina in Kissos is the most famous in Pelion,
and one that everyone who visits here should see. There are also several
small museums and traditional houses and mansions in Pelion that are
worth visiting.
For those with a little more adventure inside them, there are a range
of activities that visitors can enjoy, from horse riding, to diving,
sailing, mountain climbing, trekking and many others.

There is also the famous Pelion steam train, which takes you on a
wonderful journey across the mountains and stone bridges, and provides
a perfect day out. This unique train journey should not be missed,
and is something every visitor to Pelion should take.
